Has anyone heard of or seen a purple heron at Frensham Pond in the last few days ?
Haven't been over that way I'm afraid, although I see that there have been reports at the London Wetlands centre.:)
Have heard of the Purple Heron but have never seen one. It has a reddish neck and is smaller then the Grey Heron :)
