Was very windy over the gravel pits today, so took a couple of pictures of the Blackheaded Gulls playing. When you study them they are incredible flyers.:)

Good 'in flight' shots there Rolf. I've just returned form Jersey, CI today and have been watching the gulls and magpies from the hotel. Then went down to a beach where a guy had brought in a few fish and he was surrounded by gullls ....as you would expect. The noise was very loud.

I know I have pics of horses and a duck ......but need to download from the camera as soon as I can. Busy atm with Easter and family coming.
Btw Rolf, my wife said to ask you ...... at Gatwick she saw 2 x magpies with the usual black/white markings but also bluish/purple in their wings. Are they standard or unusual?? There's a brownie point or 2 in this.:biggrinbounce:
There is normally a multi-colour sheen to the wings Jimbo, the one below is a younger one. :)
