They are fairly small with a large wingspan Took loads of photos but very difficult to get a good focus whilst it is hovering against the wind.
I thought of making a montage

Well spotted and good action pics Beryl. I saw quite a few Kestrals up in Scotland and each time I saw them they were having a set to with either one or two hooded crows, very interesting to watch:)
