There were still a few stragglers at Hosehill lake on Sunday, mostly Whites, but the odd Speckled Wood and a solitary, rather battered Common Blue.

There were still a few stragglers at Hosehill lake on Sunday, mostly Whites, but the odd Speckled Wood and a solitary, rather battered Common Blue.
I saw a few at the weekend, a couple being as battered as your Common Blue. In fact I saw more in one place than I'd seen all summer other than that Hosehill bird-ringing trip.
