    Nice one Beryl. One of our most exotic birds and one I can see near home - I would say from experience - on eight visits out of ten if you are really lucky and patient.

    The brilliant blue flash as it speeds by is something else.

    This one I know where they hang out. It's just a tad far out for a good close up. That is some times why I make videos , so I can get a closer look.
    This is the female. You can tell because the female has red under beak and it looks just like she's wearing lipstick .

    Absolutely right about the bill Beryl which I think is the only characteristic that separates them.
