Thread: My first attempt...

    Default My first attempt...

    ....at uploading a photo.
Sincere apologies if this is in the wrong place, or carried out incorrectly.
I'll try to learn as fast as I can!

This (should be) is a photo of a female "Fence-post jumping spider" (Marpissa muscosa) catching a Greenbottle blowfly for her tea, on our back fence in June.
    I hope this works!

Thanks Rolf. It DID work then I take it!
I bought a second hand Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ20 last November and started taking photographs with it.
This was taken with a Raynos DCR150 clip on lens (£25) attached to the camera - a tried and tested set up for others I hear, and for me for a year.
Before that, I was taking pictures with my phone! NOT as good!

Excellent is the word here and a wise and extraordinary move up the photographic ladder from 'your phone' to the equipment you are now using Black Rabbit.

Yes I too like the name 'Black Rabbit' but it's always good to be able to 'speak' to people on the internet using a 'real' name.

I mean......my name as you know is Pete and definitely not Merlin.

    Thanks Digidark.
I am of the opinion that the Leica lens on the FZs is the best available on ANY bridge camera (and better than many 18-55 standard lenses on much more expensive DSLRS?!)
    Thanks again
