    Default More red kites

This is the best of a number of pics I took at the Red Kite feeding centre at Rhyader in North Wales. Not bad for a small point and shoot

This is not a montage pic - this is what I saw - there were loads of them

The damn camera batteries went flat after this pic, so there may be more when I get the other pics sent to me from the person whose camera I nabbed!

Ah yes, Gigrin Farm.: Must take a trip down there one day.

Although as a side issue, I'm not 100% sure how good an idea it is to keep that many Kites tied to a relatively small area, their natural tendency would be to spread way before the population got that big.

If you believe the info boards the kites come in from up to 30 miles away.

Theres another kite feeding site at Tregaron which is over Aberystwyth way.

One pretty amazing site was a leucistic (partially white) kite which came in about an hour after feeding statrted
