Today i head a magpie, only when i looked at the bird it looked like a thrush of some sort. Is this normal for them to sound simular to magpie/machine guns... im fairly sure it was him as the beak was moving to the noise... i know daft question..
A Mistle Thrush will make that sort of sound, particularly as a warning call.
A Song Thrush has a very wide repertoire Billy . He has about 8 different tunes and some time he'll go right through the lot Other time only two
Go here and on the left click on listen
The RSPB: Song thrush
Rolf has beaten me to it probably with the right bird
But any way there you go Billy and it's not a daft question
