Here are some general birds.
Very nice Joe. The wren appears to be watching a fly . I like the Redpoll and the Juvenile Starling.
Well done
Lovely set - I like the Starling turning over the beach. Mind you, the Redpoll makes me laugh as it really looks like he's rubbed up against a newly painted fence
Thank you all for your nice comments. I thought that the one you have all said is a redpoll was a linnet.
I have some more to post if I can (I had problems last night.
I tried advanced and it might have worked.
Here are 3 more.
You did get a lot - how long were you there, Joe?
Here are few with general birds in flight.
I was there for 10 days, roughly split between the 2 islands.
On Sark it was just walk about and keep eyes open. On guernsey there are at least 3 public hides if you can find them, but you can spot birds on the sand dunes behind the beaches.
It sounds like you had a good time - I'm really jealous!!!
Here are the aquatic birds.
Some more aquatics
and here are some more aquatics
Here are the aquatics in flight

Now you are just showing off!!!
I've still got some flowers and insects to post yet. If you're not bored already.
Nope - not bored yet - would love to see them. I might just turn green with envy though.. as long as I don't go as far as the Incredible Hulk
OK, I'll upload them tonight when the internet is quiet.(I keep getting time outs)
"Time outs"? - that must mean that you are a naughty boy
Here is the start of the insects
