Took this a little while ago, when I first got my zoom lens. There was a little cropping and levels.
If they are on the ground, perched on a twig or asleep, I can photograph them... In flight..... Yeah Right..... LOL
Lol. That's a nice capture
If you depress the shutter release half way and follow the bird when flying the shutter release won't work on blue sky as it is infinitive so each time some thing crosses over the focal point the shutter release snaps the image if you have it on rapid fire it will keep snapping while some thing is in the focal point or pick it up as you catch up with your bird.
The art is staying with the bird and not getting dizzy or tripping over a log and falling down a ditch as I have done.
Chocky, I have fell in more brooks n burns while in Scotland, just to get THAT SHOT, its unbelieveable... and the water has been close to freezing at times....
I am going to practice more with the multi-shoot option. Practice makes perfect.... eh? LOL
Yes. I couldn't agree more.
I'll keep out of the trenches and you keep out of the brooks
Tis a deal, Chocky... tis a deal.... anything to stay dry..... lmao
Lol. To get a good photo you have to be prepared to do..... ..well most things.
I stood in a foot of water on the estuary bed filming Th e Little Egret Last year. I did get some really good close up footage. I was about 10 feet from him and he just kept on fishing, looking at me every now and then until he flew off to Star Cross the other side of the Estuary. I have a super 5 minute DVD out of it and some good close up captures
