In my garden, the fairies have been leaving me some of their umbrellas. I put the can in one shot to show how big it was... no, I don't make the cat hunt for her food
Crumbs, they're massive, unless of course you buy miniature cat food.
"miniature cat food" - with my cat? She'd eat me while I slept if I did that
That's where it landed after Louise missed the cat with it
LOL, Eddy - have you been standing outside my house?
Yes, that's a big one, Louise!
I find fungi very interesting. Yesterday, I came across three types in the garden - the usual small lawn fungi which grow in poorly aerated grass after rain, some puff balls which 'exploded as I was weeding and a Boletus of sorts which had been nibbled ll round the edge by a Wood Mouse (or Hedgehog?)
This is the time of year to search for them in damp woodlands. It's amazing the colours you'll find too.
Here's one I saw at Hosehill lake, was a good six inches across.
Looks like it's at the end of its life - it was probably a little wider before it started to shrivel as well, Rolf.
