    Default Heron stabbing large fish

    Took these at dusk the other day at Lavell's, most were horribly blurred, as the light was very low, but shows a short period of the Heron stabbing a large Perch until it is lifeless and he can swallow it.

    I like the way you got the Heron in focus while the other birds (incidentals) are blurry.

    Cool catch, although gutting that the light levels were so low. I didn't realise that they bothered to kill them, but it must make swallowing that much easier and less tickly
