Have put several half apples on the grass, but only Blackbirds and Starlings have come to eat them.
One Christmas present was a new crab apple tree though, so maybe next year...?![]()
Thanks all, yes, seems that the main diners are thrushes of different sorts, including Robins, but also the Blue and Great Tits are having the odd peck.![]()
Was up a ladder in the willow tree attempting to get a better Fieldfare photo (which was a failure) and across the other side of the orchard appeared a female Hen Harrier, too far for a good shot though.
