He came in to frighten the crows. Taken at lea farm friday afternoon
The coot looks a little surprised Nice catch, in particular the last one (although I do quite like the third one - 'just because').
Since they are taken from so far away they might be better at a smaller size though, Joe - at this size the grain etc is a little distracting, which is a pity when you have such nice catches. You can always tell which of mine are a little unclear.. they are smaller than I normally post, sometimes MUCH smaller - it makes me look like I have much better lenses and skills than I do
Will have to make a new photoshop action then to make them smaller.
It shouldn't really need setting anything up (unless you like setting stuff up of course ), just go to 'image size' and fiddle with the sizing 'as and when', after all you don't require it too often, and probably won't know what's best until you try it out (at least, I don't - you may be better at judging than me!).
My standard are 900x675, which I take down to 800x600 or if that's still not good enough, 700x525 and if that's not good enough I don't bother
Thanks for that Louise might try it later on pics I took yesterday at WWT Barnes.
You do get out and about, don't you Joe
Anything rather than stay in the house. Advantages of being retired with no responsibilities. Just wish I could drive and go futher afield.
