The Starling

Every weekend I have a visit from two starlings (I'm sure they visit on weekdays as well), their markings are beautiful and they are proper little characters, I know they can be a bit of a pain when they bring all their youngsters and just devour everything in their path but I love em anyway

Sorry to take on other peoples comments, but yes great shots and really stunning. Even the common Starling deserves its place alongside all the other species we see in the UK each of which has its own qualities in varying degrees......excellent is another word to describe your photography Babs.

I may have made this comment once before but there is a saying that 'you're only as good as your last picture' so you have to keep it up Babs.

Wouldn't worry too much about what goes in the bin Babs. I'm of the very firm opinion -and always have been - that ALL photographers 'trash' more material than they publish.
