News from the RSPB site
From saving special birds and important places, to encouraging people to discover nature, 2007 has been an incredible year with many achievements, made possible only by your support.
We acquired our 200th nature reserve – Sutton Fen in Norfolk and witnessed the 200th white-tailed eagle chick fledge in Scotland since re-introduction began in 1975. We also celebrated 40 years of field teaching on our reserves, in that time we have welcomed hundreds of thousands of children to RSPB sites across the UK.
Internationally, projects to save the Sumatran rainforest and the Gola forest also took massive steps forward.
