    Waiting for some seed. I had a bag of wild bird see and he came right
    to the toe of my boot. He was so tame he followed me along the lane

    Yes. he is so cute
    There is still ice puddles over at the marshes. It's only half an hour away but so open and higher up than Exmouth . Mind you it was frosty here too today

    Yes. Actually he reduced his size a bit later when he noticed some other people coming along and then flew off

    Doesn't look like the same bird there - though I know it is!

    I guess his long coat wasn't aerodynamic enough for flying!

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
