Thread: It's that time of year again - Jackdaw - Corvus monedula

    Default It's that time of year again - Jackdaw - Corvus monedula

    Waiting for the bus home, I could hear a lot of squawking that sounded (to me) like Gulls, so I ignored it. But, it kept going until I eventually noticed the kerfuffle that was going with it... and that it wasn't Gulls. There were 5 of them, one definitely a female ( i think you know why ). The third shot is the reason they were all arguing, and the rest of the shots show how disappointed the other 3 males were.

    It was so annoying trying to get the shots - there was bright cloud behind them and I had to stand on the other side of the road as standing on the same side put the building in the way... and I missed my bus
