    Please
If want to record a film I have recored on the Sky+ box on to a DVD do I need to have the scart plug going from the +box to the DVD recorder or will it pick it up from the TV like it does when a film is transmitted to the TV so long as the film is playing whilst recording?.

The diagram is a little complex but it shows a lead going from the +box to the recorder. My lead goes from the +box to the VHS which I rarely use. Will I need to swap them or should I leave it alone (rather than cock the whole lot up) and wait for some one who knows what he is doing to sort it out for me?

I would run the scart to the DVD recorder and record via that.

    Right. Thank you .
I don't think I can upset any thing by moving a plug from one socket to another just so long as I don't yank them all out. And I can always put it back if it..........I wonder why it's connected to the VCR. perhaps the chap thought the DVD didn't record. Hmm.
Ok I'll do that. Thank you.
