    Default Blackcap

A Went to Bowling green marsh today and a flock of Blackcaps landed and the tree were full of their singing. Never seen so many .

"Although primarily a summer visitor birds from Germany and north-east Europe are increasingly spending the winter in the UK.
Breeding birds arrive in April and May, leaving in September and October. Some European birds winter in the UK, largely in England"

    Quted from the RSPB site

About an hour later all but one pair had gone from the lane and another pair seamd to settle about half a mile further up the hill.
