Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

Exclamation Cheap (free+postage) large photo offer

Bonusprint is offering one 12x18 inch photo for just postage (£1.50), but it ends tomorrow (27th August 2007).

I use this lot for my photographs when I want cheap. They also have 25% off until Sept 10th... so now is the time to get a load of photos printed.

I forgot to say, it's online ordering.

Yep - they have various ways of doing it, but I have downloaded a program that makes it very easy to do it in bulk, takes a just a minute or 2 (or half an hour if you're doing tonnes!!), and 4 or 5 days later a large envelope arrives at your door.

The good thing about this is that they do 2 sets of sizes - one more appropriate for film and one more appropriate for digital (I got a digital done at Boots and it cropped it terribly due to size difference)

The price drops the more you get, so for the smallest (either 4 by 6 or 4.5 by 6) it's 12p, or 9p if 100+ or 7p if 150+
The largest of the more normal prices is 8x10.6 inches and that's £1.20 to 99p. Then it goes up to 4.99 for the next size and keeps getting bigger . Each order costs £1.50 postage.

It was great when I had wedding photos to do as I needed to do a number of sets so I got a good discount per print.

I had a free 4 x 25 prints 4X6 size when I bought a new camera and was rather annoyed when my sons feet were chopped off due to them not bothering really because I managed to fit his feet in perfectly when I printed 4X6.
They shouldn't miss any of the photo out.
Sounds like a good deal. Mind you Bonus print are good

Well, I just received my free large print and it's come out rather well. I've never enlarged any of my close-up stuff and I was surprised how well the macro on my camera dealt with it. Yes, it's not really, really fine detail at this size, but damned good since it was taken without adding a special lens to the camera. I used my female Common Blue since the brown and the greeny/yellow background works well on my yellow wall. I considered getting my Stag Beetle close-up... then decided against it

I didn't make close ups . Just had the originals printed . They just cropped them instead of paying attention .
