    Default excuses

    Hiya,

i was talking to a mate and she began to mother me with the risks of going out to the new forest, grass snakes, adders ect so i decided to make up a list of excuses...

Grass snake plan is to ambush before there too warm, so i have a chance to get away... though its not my fault if they force me into the water...

osprey - not my fault it lands on my head and takes the fish i taped there, to get a good "close up"

Deer - not my fault the mum head butts me for asking babe to strike poses.

Cute baby coming home, it sliped into the bag when i wasnt looking and any way my house mate demanded i bring one home so her fault really...

im sure we can come up with some better ones....

    LOL
I always favour the following which (in my case at least), can always be brought into play whatever the activity "when I tripped I landed on my back and the beer barrel just fell over and started emptying...."

Maybe more appropriately for your visit "The hole in my hat isn't my fault, how was I to know that Robin Hood was practising?"
