Off over to France at the weekend, so hopefully I can spend a decent amount of time out and about with the camera, this will be my first spring with the big lens, so I should be able to improve on last spring's efforts.

Must do some housekeeping on the laptop before I go, as I think I'm going to need a lot of disk space.

It is a lot quieter over there as well, so should also get some good birdsong clips.

Yes, unfortunately it is only for a week Maureen, but I never over exert myself when there.

No I don't speak French I'm afraid Chocky, but I can understand a bit and have learnt a lot of French words.

Im staying with my sister who lives near Chartres, about 100Km SW of Paris, out in the countryside, so it is nice and quiet.

I'll still be online though, as although they are out in the sticks, they do have broadband.

It will be nice to get fine weather, as the weather at Christmas was misty and wet for all but one day and not great for photographs.

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

No we had an awful winter, thbay roof ripped off, the ceiling below it fell on top of me and it took three monts almost to get a new ceilning and carpet. Th loss adjusters had to come out from each insurans=ce company , what a nightmare and I can't at th moment be bothered to bring all my stuff back into the lounge. Think I'll leave it all pack up and move.
