    Default Female Ringlet

    Captured along the estuary . there mus have been some 50 plus and all of them females. I will have to go back next week and see if the males have emerged .
    They should have been out in early June.

    Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)


    Considering how warm it's been you wouldn't expect them to be late... there must have been a footie game on that they wanted to watch
