    Captured this mallard as it came in t land . They are so fast and quiet, I uaually miss out .

    That is without doubt an amazing shot Chocky. I love the reflection in the water as well, looks like a bird of the day candidate to me.

    Yes . Thank you. I shot two the first was closer and I thought great but it tuerned out to be blurred and this one I thought I had missed came out well with reflection to boot. So I was quite pleased.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
