Default Man made global warming, is this the best way to persuade people?

Whether you are a man made global warming disciple, a "not sure, but cutting our carbon emissions can't do any harm", or a "think it's going to happen whatever we do, it's a recurring cycle" type person, are you, like me, not convinced that they have the nessage quite right with this video?

Think it may have been directed by the Taliban. PS. if you are squeamish, don't watch.

Yep, it doesn't quite work... and I'm not one who gets bothered about line-crossing, I just don't think it works. It's now been taken off the 10:10 site because of complaints, mainly about kids being blown up I think.. sod the adults, eh?

That is possibly the most ridiculously stupid and intellectually inept piece of costly video-production which I've ever seen!

They can't be serious - can they?

Of course, as you allude, Rolf, it may have been directed by (or produced for) the Taliban.

[BTW, don't worry re. the squeamishness of the video. It's so amateurish that it's completely unbelievable too!]

I can't work out - are they trying to say that they are so out of step with popular opinion that they should disappear or that in their world, with no-one doing anything, they would die?
I don't think that Richard Curtis is really the right chap to do something like this - the closest he gets to 'serious' is Blackadder, otherwise it's things like Love, Actually and Mr Bean.

Well the way I saw it was, if you dare to disagree with us, we will eliminate you.

Yes Catherine, spotted it was Ginola, even with the grey hair.

    Not worth mentioning!

What the **** is that supposed to tell us? I don't have a problem with drastic actions to point out a good cause but that is just ridiculous. And in my eyes they have failded completely because the video does not set you off thinking about the cause but will only lead to discussions about the sanity of the producers of the video.
