    Default BTO Conference at Poole

Received this email from Ellen of the BTO just now - Unfortunately, I cannot manage but thought I'd pass it on to see if anyone else was interested.

I hope this email finds you well – despite the weather! I am writing to you today to tell you about the upcoming “Birder’s Conference 2010”; a joint conference between the British Trust for Ornithology and the Dorset Bird Club, which will take place on Saturday October 30, 2010 at Talbot Campus, Bournemouth University, Poole.

The first for many years, this exciting conference includes subjects of both local and national interest and a great talk form our Guest Speaker, birdwatcher and author, Dominic Couzens. This event represents a great way of meeting members and volunteers from the Dorset Bird Club and the BTO, and there will also be stalls and displays from other conservation and commercial organisations and a raffle – how can you afford not to come! Conference tickets are great value, at only £15.00 per person which includes tea, coffee and a buffet lunch, so book soon to avoid disappointment, link below.

Please have a look and tell others who may be interested. We hope to see you there!

Won't be able to make it either, also no longer a member of the BTO, turned out to be a membership too far, as I am member of four local, one regional clubs/associations and the RSPB.
