    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Well yesterday we did a circular walk totalling eight and a half mile. Whilst high up on the moors I took some lovely photos of some lovely views with my 350D and all was well.............................................. ......... until I noticed I had forgot to put the card in cf card in the camera doh

    Oh what a shame
    I did that and took 4 shots of an purple Emperor Butterfly.Am still kicking my self Purple Emperors rarely come down from the tree tops.

    What a shame Babs, haven't done that, but have certainly forgotten a replacement battery and found out after only a couple of shots.

    Not done the battery one yet rolf........but there's time, hopefully I won't make the same mistake twice
