    Default Bird seed at Aldi

I just bought a 12.75kg bad of 'premium bird seed' for £7.99. There are other bird-based stuff there as well including a tub of fat balls (sorry, didn't look at the price as I was already buying too much heavy stuff to add to the walk home, but I got some a couple of years ago and they were VERY reasonable), bird boxes, bird table ans scope. I spotted some poor bloke having a good look and I deemed him to be a prospect for the site... you can't even go shopping without being bothered by some nutter ...

That's not a bad price at all Louise, although I trend not to use the mixed seed, as most of it ends up on the ground. Catherine was going to look at one of those scopes, don't know whether she went for one in the end.

I was interested in it, Rolf, but went for this instead - to exercise my new knees... needs must.

PEDAL EXERCISER ELECTRONIC MINI EXERCISE BIKE on eBay (end time 10-Mar-11 20:40:44 GMT)

Not as much fun though - so maybe next time?

Sounds good - what I like about this sort of thing is that when you are ready to stop there's none of that realising that since you have cycled 10 miles, you now have 10 miles to get back home

It's really quite funny, Louise. I pedalled quite a bit and looked at the 'calories used' read-out - and it said 4 - just 4!

I'm sure the scope would have been more fun though. - AND used more...

LOL - not enough to make up for a Mars bar... maybe it's called that because you have to pedal the equivalent of going to Mars to do it
