The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Juveniles

Has anyone seen any juvenile wild birds yet? I was wondering whether the wild birds tend to breed earlier in the south than they do in the north.

I hadn't seen any before I came over to France, but probably will when I get back, have seen a couple over here though, particularly the juvenile Redstart.

I was reading on another forum that there were already some juvenile Robins and Blackbirds around, I guess that it'll depend on the local food supply.

Can't wait for the day, funny but this evening I took a photograph of a Song Thrush and I suspect that was a juvenile. I will upload it in the gallery.
