Brilliant little clip, an amazingly gentle touch from the strong animal. Looks like a baby Coot by the way, but possibly too young to be out of the nest.

IT's amazing how strong the parenting instinct is - if it's small and helpless then mammals often try and help... as long as they aren't hungry at the time
