    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Nikon 105 mm Macro with VR Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos Nikon D7000 Nikon 17-55 mm F2.8

    Default Moorhen and Grey Heron

    Taken on Friday at Lwwt. The heron was drying his wings in the sun after a swim.

    That Heron looks quite comical - almost human in stance!

    Your Moorhen and baby pic is really special though - I just love the angle it's taken at, with the look of love from the mum to her chick, and the look of adoration in the youngster's gaze!
