    LOL, been there, got the T shirt.

    I remember back in the 80s, my poor old Hillman Avenger having all four wings wiped out after sliding on sheet ice in a country lane, even after I'd stopped, a VW Beetle came past me backwards. Laughed about it afterwards, but was pretty frightening at the time.

    LOL - I do remember Rolf driving us up a hill in the snow a few years back - we just managed it, but the car that started off well in front of us started coming back towards up

    It reminds me of when I worked at London Buses back in the late eighties. I interviewed prospective drivers, and my boss felt that you should know what it was like to drive a bus if you recruited. I would have been taught to drive a bus if I hadn't left, and at that time part of the instruction included using the skidpan in Acton to learn how to deal with slippery situations. I wish I had done that!!!!
