    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Thankyou's . I have not had much chance to much bird photography lately,just seems to be a snatched hour in the garden on a Sunday morning. There doesn't seem to be a great deal about.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    very good babs, you can see each fine feather.
    i was once at martin mere wetlands with my youngest son. in miller hide there was a poster advertising some event or other. on it was a picture of bill oddie. some one had graffitied the poster. they had wrote parus major and drawn an arrow pointing to bill oddie on the poster. imagine my embarrasment at trying to explain it to my young son!!
