    Default Butterfly invasion

Sunday was a very sunny, mild and wind-less day. Sitting at the edge of the cliff at Barton on Sea, I was engulfed in a huge cloud of thousands of Large White Butterflies.

They were all over the place, littering the grass like sweet papers and even mating as they flew past.

One female on the grass near me attracted a male in a most shameless fashion!

Can you see the smile on her face in that last pic?

Have moved them into numerical order Catherine, I would guess that the smiling one is number five now?

Thanks, Rolf! Have fixed the wording to match!

Yes, can you not SEE her smile in the last pic now?

Oh, and this shows another pair... Sorry that the camera focused on the grass rather than the action, but this couple seem to have gone for the traditional ciggy afterwards!
