    The RSPB's Leighton Moss nature reserve in Silverdale is famous for its elusive bitterns (a type of heron), but this summer a trio of much more 'in-your-face' members of the family has visited the reserve.

    We have a great deal of little egrets here some days 15 or more can be seen at a time on the Exe Estuary nature reserve between Exmouth an Topsham
