    Default Is it a Sparrow

    It looks like a sparrow but a lot smoother plumage,Can't find a reference for it (maybe I'm not looking hard enough)

    certainly looks like a female House Sparrow, but the wing marking as you say seem slightly different.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    yes its a female house sparrow d.d.
