    Well I had the camera in my hand and in between taking other photos, I just snapped this one, but took the flash off.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Yes I agree about the flames, with a flash on it would have probably flashed back
