    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    I love it when the starlings come into my garden, but there again I only get about four at a time at the moment unlike the summer when they visit with their young well that's another matter. I like it when they land and then start to call and puff their neck feathers out especially when the sun is shining on them enhancing their beautiful colours.

    Yes they do have beautiful colours. I didn't catch the colours today unfortunately.
