    Not that common here Chocky, well at least not in the numbers there were.

    They are in great numbers all the way along the estuary. I wonder if they like the warm climate

    When I first came to my house (9 years or so) they would arrive in flocks of about 40 (hard to count them as they zipped in and out of the bushes), but now they average about 12 - 20 in one go.
    I have a lot of them roosting in my roof.

    I don't have a garden . But there is a friont garden to the hose and mosly magpies. Accross the road on the roof top starlings gather and some time it is like wathing some thing from out of The Birds
