    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    Default red legged partridge. trough of bowland

    i saw quite a few of these partridge dotted about today. one pair just ambled up to road in front of my car.
    striking birds aren't they.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    I've never seen one before but at least I will know what it is if I ever see one myself, lovely pics andy, thanks for sharing
