Default Coaltit using twig as a tool?

This interesting video was taken by Paul on British garden Birds, it shows a Coaltit using a small twig to try and prise a peanut from a fat ball feeder.

Certainly the first time I've heard of this.

    Default

Well it turned out that on closer inspection, the poor little thing has a malformed beak, with the top part being much longer.

Trouble is that it will have difficulties grooming itself and probably relies on the fatball feader for its nourishment.
