Default Female Emperor Dragonfly - Anax imperator

Capture this Lovely lady in the pond of the local park in Exmouth
Waited for over an hour for her to make he mind up on which leaf she wanted to deposit her eggs
In the first photo she settled for a short while to oviposit and then changed her mind (as women do) and settled on another leaf
This is the UK's largest Dragonfly.

Thank you Pete and Rolf . I just had to hang around for here to stop for a photo. It was really worth the wait.
