    Default Ruddy Duck

    This is a beautiful duck I captured over at Dawlidh accross the estuart in Devon . It apparently it escaped from a collection ai the 1950s and is now well astablished in many countries. It is a fresh water bird and mosly silent with odd grumbles and slaps it's bill against it's chest in disply.
    (Lol sounds some what of a tarzen )

    I like ducks - they are both pretty and funny... hard to get both together! Beautiful creature - I know tha tname but have not seen a photo of one.

    I wonder if the Ruddy ducks are related to Wigeons. Wigeons have a blue beak litle lighter more slate blue but they whistle as well

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
