    Default A damaged Dragonfly

    ...this one was sitting on the warehouse stairs. Apparently it has been flying around the warehouse for a few days bumping into things. I took some pictures and put it outside in the garden, I bet it made some hungry bird happy as I don't think it could fly any more.

    Looks like a Male Migrant Hawker TG, Latin name Aeshna mixta. Shame about the wing damage.

    Yep, that's the one. Has a typical "T" on their back. Called Herbst-Mosaikjungfer in German, translated something like Autumn Mosaic Maiden (or virgin)
