    Default Spotted Redshank- Tringa erythropus

    First Spotted Redshank of the year
    Captured in the Exe estuary near the end of the brook.
    I decided to go to the Estuary today and noticed this ..........different Redshank. Thinking it could be the Spotted Redshank I took quite a few photos. Walked on a little way to find several Twitchers and got chatting........Yes it us the Spotted Redshank and they had all come to see it.
    It is rather elusive you see staying usually well over the other side of the Estuary.
