The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Possible Bunting ?????

Not very good pics but nevertheless a newcomer to my garden, spotted it early this afternoon and took pictures through patio doors. It was still there late afternoon as it was beginning to go dark.

I think it looks like a bunting possibly a Reed Bunting but the black stripe through the eye is throwing me , any ideas please

Nice bird to have in your garden Babs the Reed Bunting.

Where have you been? You don't have to answer that one, excuse my manners!
