    Part 1 -
The 'unknown' of the first set is a Spurge, a member of the Euphorbia family; Sun spurge - Weed information - Organic Weed Management
(All Euphorbias have poisonous, milky sap!)

I think the rest are correct, although the Bugloss has much more thistle-like leaves that I remember..

    Part 2 -
first one - Speedwell (need to see the leaf to confirm which one!
middle one - Stitchwort (possibly 'Greater' variety!)
third one - I THINK it's Ground Ivy, but am not sure - check online!

Sorry, but I'm better at garden plants than wild ones!

Louise, It was nearly 60 years ago when I was in the Brownies - and that was the only time I remember ever learning about wild flowers!

We used to go walks in the country on summer evenings, bring back specimens and try to identify them. (What a memory!)

Now when I see a 'wild flower' in the garden, I 'weed it out'! (But before you lift up your hands in horror, I'm creating a small 'wild flowers for wildlife' area just over the garden fence!

    [More about that later!]

That'll be interesting Catherine, look forward to the photos.

My sister here in France is now doing that with a corner of her large paddock, hopefully it will produce dividends.

Thanks for the idents, will have a couple more by the end of my stay.
