Default Butterflies + insects in my garden today

Nothing spectacular, but it's a quiet day (and a very small garden), so all together:
Meadow Brown - Maniola jurtina (female)
Large White - Pieris brassica (female)
    Bumble Bee
    Grasshopper
    Damselfly

Well done Louise, the Meadow Browns need to be in the Gallery, link the pictures. The Damselfly is I think a Common Bluet, not sure about the grasshopper though.

Thanks Rolf - I did mean to add the Damselfly name (I assumed it was that), but really need to do some research on grasshoppers. I have about 4 or 5 that I took in the field near work on just one day that I mean to upload.. but I just haven't got around to tracking down what sort they are yet... I started but wasn't getting very far, there are so many of them!!

Wow, just checked the gallery and I'm surprised that there are no Meadow Brown pics... I'll post now.
