    They're lovely little animals, Beryl!

    We've only noticed a flash of chestnut brown now and again this summer, but we know ours are still around. Melon seeds are taken up on to the pond filter box and split open there, as well as strawberies being nibbled at the foot of it!

    Sometimes it might be just Wood Mice doing that though, so I guess we'll need to wait until winter has caused branches to be bare and plants to die down before we can see them properly and take their pics again!

    Have never seen one before although some thing scurried across the path a few days ago and only saw a dormouse when I was quite young.
